Hawaii Superferry comes to Kawaihae Harbor.Thousands
of people came from as far as South Point to get
a glimpse of this beautiful vessel and show their
support for the much needed alternative means
of travel in the islands.

had been moored off shore at Mahukona is ripped
from its lines and shredded to pieces on the rocks
in high winds and surf. Locals watch from
the shore in amazement.

Rocks Kohala -
Early Sunday morning (7:08am) a 6.7 magnitude
earthquake rocked the Big Island of Hawaii and caused
major damages throughout the island. North Kohala
was one of the hardest hit with the destruction of
the old smokestack and the Kalahikiola church.
